Seventh Annual Faces of Fatherhood Luncheon
Our seventh annual Faces of Fatherhood Luncheon was a tremendous success thanks to overwhelming support from the community. This year four outstanding fathers were honored for their dedication and commitment to their children. Moving stories were shared by fathers as they reflected on the challenges, and rewards of being a parent. As a community united in the common goal of creating a better life for our children, it is we as parents who must stop the cycle of father absenteeism. Your support is crucial in helping us build a noble legacy of fatherhood. On behalf of the Board of Directors, Staff, and Participants, I want to thank you all for making this year's luncheon the best ever.

Fathers and Families Center's Faces of Fatherhood Luncheon was first started in 2005 to create awareness of the importance of fathers. Local not-for-profit and United Way Agency's are asked to nominate an outstanding father, who in their opinion demonstrate the four dimensions of fatherhood; Involvement, Consistency, Awareness, and Nurturing. The event is held every year on the Friday before Fathers Day to focus public attention on what makes a great father.
