Robert Mays is a Family Services Specialist for Fathers and Families Center. In this capacity Robert coordinates the day to day operations and provides case management for the center’s Fatherhood Development Workshop. Robert serves as a big brother, a father figure, mentor, and life coach to the young men obtaining services at the Center.
Robert facilitates a multitude of workshops for the center to include life skills, financial management, and assists with job readiness sessions for participants.
Robert has worked in the human and social services field for over 16 years. The majority of which has been serving mental health, at risk, and under-served populations in our communities.
Mr. Mays attended Alabama A&M University from1992 – 1996 where he majored in Business Management and is currently attending Indiana Wesleyan University Pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice. He is a National Certified Workforce Professional and a member of Trinity C.M.E. Church where he serves as a Trustee, Youth Director, and a member of the Board of Christian Education.
