David Plasterer is the Fund Development Specialist for Fathers and Families Center. He is responsible for donor stewardship/cultivation activities, grant writing/reporting, and data entry. He is a member of the annual Faces of Fatherhood Luncheon planning committee as well as the Fund Development Committee of the Board of Directors. David graduated from IUPUI with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cultural Anthropology with an emphasis on ethnic identity and race relations. He is a published author in the academic journal Collaborative Anthropologies for his ethnographic work on Indianapolis’ south side. David cultivated his desire to serve through international aid projects in Haiti and Jamaica and that desire drives his work with Fathers and Families Center today. His wonderful wife Kari is a surgical nurse for Community Health Network and together they have 3 beautiful children Henry, Edith, and Alice.
